If sociology is as much an art form as a science, how can we use the potential of new ways of writing the social for both a trans- and post-disciplinary academy? Can we resist the ideological promotion of seemingly “objective” discourse that has traditionally upheld dominant, privileged voices? This creative and diverse collection features 13 new scholarly articles whose “interventions in writing the social” draw on a range of formal and stylistic approaches.
